GPRS Settings Step by Step

Step1: Select: Menu

Step2:Select: Tools

Step3: Go To: Settings

Step4:Select: Connection

Step5:Select: Access point

Step6:Select: Options

Step7:Select: New access point

Step8:Now change Connection name to 'Ufone GPRS’ and select 'OK'.

Step9:Select: Data bearer press ‘Packet Data' and tap 'OK'.

Step10:Change Access point name to: 'ufone.internet / ufone.pinternet’ for postpaid /prepaid respectively' and press 'OK'.

Step11:Leave the User name blank and select 'OK'.

Step12:Change ‘Prompt password' to 'No'.

Step13:Leave the 'Password' blank and select 'OK' and change 'Authentication' to 'Normal'.

Step14:Select: 'Homepage' and enter 'http://wap.ufone.com' and select ‘OK’.

Step1:Press 'Options' and select 'Advanced settings'.

Step15:Change ‘Network type’ to 'IPv4'.

Step16:Change 'Phone IP address' to 'Automatic'.

Step17:Now change 'DNS address' to 'Automatic'.

Step18:Tap Proxy server address and leave it blank as no IP address is required for GPRS settings, then tap OK

Step19:Select ‘Proxy port number' enter '8080' and press 'OK'.
