GPRS Settings Step by Step
Step1: Select: Menu |
| Step2:Select: Tools |
| Step4:Select: Connection |
| Step5:Select: Access point |
| Step6:Select: Options |
| Step7:Select: New access point |
| Step8:Now change Connection name to 'Ufone GPRS’ and select 'OK'. |
| Step9:Select: Data bearer press ‘Packet Data' and tap 'OK'. |
| Step10:Change Access point name to: 'ufone.internet / ufone.pinternet’ for postpaid /prepaid respectively' and press 'OK'. |
Step11:Leave the User name blank and select 'OK'. |
| Step12:Change ‘Prompt password' to 'No'. |
| Step13:Leave the 'Password' blank and select 'OK' and change 'Authentication' to 'Normal'. |
| Step14:Select: 'Homepage' and enter 'http://wap.ufone.com' and select ‘OK’. |
| Step1:Press 'Options' and select 'Advanced settings'. |
| Step15:Change ‘Network type’ to 'IPv4'. |
| Step16:Change 'Phone IP address' to 'Automatic'. |
| Step17:Now change 'DNS address' to 'Automatic'. |
| Step18:Tap Proxy server address and leave it blank as no IP address is required for GPRS settings, then tap OK |
Step19:Select ‘Proxy port number' enter '8080' and press 'OK'. |
| Step20:Press the right soft key to go back to the main menu.
